Eligibility

The TOEFL iBT test assesses your English proficiency for university studies. It gauges your ability to combine reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills to complete academic tasks. Administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the TOEFL is widely accepted by over 11,500 universities and institutions in 106+ countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many countries in Asia and Europe. It is popular both in English and non-English speaking countries.

Why take TOEFL?

The TOEFL test is a widely accepted language proficiency exam for admission to universities and academic programs. In Canada, it is the preferred exam for over 80% of graduate programs. In the U.K., it is accepted by all universities, including the prestigious Russel Group schools. The test has a high success rate, with over 90% of test-takers being admitted to their first or second choice university. It is also popular in France and Germany. In addition, TOEFL offers a free matching service to help students find the right universities and educational opportunities, based on their personal criteria.

You must have passed in 10+2 from any recognised Indian Board or University.

General Facts

Date and Frequency The TOEFL exam can be taken at authorized centers worldwide with over 50 dates available each year. Test takers can retake the exam as often as they want, but can’t take it more than once in a three-day span. If you have a scheduled appointment, you cannot register for another date within three days of your current appointment. The fee to register must be paid each time you sign up for a date.

Center and Admit Card The TOEFL iBT test, administered via the internet, is offered more than 50 times a year at authorized test centers around the world. There is no admit card provided. Result You can view your scores online or via the TOEFL official app,

approximately 6 days after you take the test. Score Reporting Your test fee includes up to 4 free official TOEFL score reports to be sent to the TOEFL Destinations that you select before you take the test. Official score reports will be sent to your designated recipients within 11 days after you take the test.
